Now the latest expansion:Players now can enjoy the new update!Alterac Valley
The Stormpikes have set up residence in the valley to search for natural resources and ancient relics. Despite their intentions, the Dwarven presence has sparked heated conflict with the Frostwolf Orcs to the south, who have vowed to drive the interlopers from their lands. Read more about Alterac Valley here . Reputation Rewards
As you fight for your faction in Alterac Valley, you increase your reputation with the Horde or Alliance NPCs in the Battleground. As you do so, you will unlock special rewards available only to the most reputable of players. There are two special vendor NPCs, one for Horde and one for Alliance, standing outside of their respective entrance to Alterac Valley. These two NPCs sell special rewards. When you raise your reputation level with them to a new category, you unlock a new set of rewards. For example, once you reach friendly reputation, a page of secret items is revealed to you. When you reach the next category of reputation, another page opens for you.
This is quite possibly the coolest cake I’ve ever seen - but I’m a big WoW fan so I’m a bit biased on the subject. All the same, this cake it definitely something else.I’m particularly fond of the bloody blades.
Taking a page from Lord of the Rings Online, Blizzard is adding an Xbox 360-style Achievement system to World of Warcraft as part of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, reports fansite Deathknight.info.
After hearing rumors of the addition, Deathknight.info writer Kenzi logged into what we're presuming is the alpha version of the unreleased Wrath, typed "/achievement" and up came a new screen detailing the achievement system. Tasks in the system range from completing daily quests five days in a row to winning matches in the game's PvP battlegrounds.
It's unknown what (if any) rewards will be allotted to players for completing these tasks, but if the success of a similar system in Lord of the Rings Online is any indication, players will be clamoring to finish as many of the tasks as possible.
