Shaman

Shaman are the spiritual leaders of their tribes and clans. They are masters of the elements, using spells and totems that heal or enhance their allies in battle while unleashing the fury of the elements upon their foes. Shamans can wear medium armor, and even wield massive two-handed weapons in combat. They are a versatile class that can wade into battle, restoring their allies while hurling elemental bolts of lightning at their enemies.

There's also the cosplay and artist/developer signings to look forward to, as well as the Machinima contest and live concert (to be performed by L70ETC). The Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational will be taking place from June 28 to 29, at the Porte de Versailles Convention Centre in Paris, France. One of the many reasons to look forward to in the release of World of Warcraft's Wrath of the Lich King is the Death Knight Class. However, some players do tend to wonder why Blizzard didn't give us even more reasons to look forward to the expansion, like more new classes. Why limit themselves to just one?

This thought was posed by gamer Skudo in the World of Warcraft forums. Blizzard poster Nethaera soon responded, explaining that adding a class is a complicated matter that doesn't happen with a snap of the fingers:

There is a lot of work that goes into it and many considerations for how it will work, how it will work with other classes, how the lore ties in, how quests and npcs also can tie in to this new class, itemization, and a whole lot more.

It takes a lot of forethought, testing, and care to add something this major to the game and for each new class that is added to the game, come the concerns about not maintaining the uniqueness of each class that already exists..

Not long afterwards, another player expressed that the Death Knight is getting more attention to details than any of the other classes, and so it might become a sort of uber-class. Nethaera also responds to this saying:

Every class is getting looked at and the death knight is being created to fit in and balance in with all of the other classes as well. While the death knight is being created to be unique, it is not being created to be more powerful than any other class.
