More shameful to play games than view porn?
There's never been anything wrong with playing computer games. My friends would play Elite or Chuckie Egg (or if they had a Spectrum, Jet Set Willy) and they go out and play football. We were neither geeks or socially retarded. It is a leisure activity suitable for any age. My mother plays bejewelled, my wife likes scrabble, I play RTS and FPS games & my sons play LEGO Indy (this week!). It's normal.

Football fans would be more of a case study anyway. Gamers don't tend to wear gaming clothes, drive around with game-related stickers in their car and spend all day and every day reading about games, discussing games at work and taking their children to watch them play games.... ...football fans do...

In recent years people (the selfish attention seeking types) bang on about "addiction" when they are simply doing exactly what they want, but take no responsibility, pretending instead that their selfish behaviour is some kind, of as yet undiscovered, disease. Newsflash, you're just a selfish git, there is no "gaming/sex/gambling addiction".

I'll be playing computer games until I croak of very old age. I stopped viewing porn years ago. A naked wife is far more interactive.

Hell, there are people who visit this site that are ashamed to be gamers. You can see it every time they try to distance themselves from people who are excited about new games or whatever, they are usually the ones who call everyone else nerds or geeks or whatever.

And PornAgain, is gaming immature or are people still refusing to accept it as a legit form of entertainment, even for adults? You don't hear people questioning the guy who stays up until 1am to watch a Baseball game but that same guy plays a game and hes called "immature".
